Emergency First Aid & Standard First Aid Training, May 8

We’re pleased to offer Emergency First Aid (EFA) and Standard First Aid (SFA) training on Wednesday, May 8 at the ABC Hall. This will be a combination of online and in-class learning.

The Emergency First Aid course covers basic lifesaving first aid and CPR skills for adults (children and infants) in the home or workplace. It requires 4 hours online learning plus 3 ½ hours in-class.

The comprehensive Standard First Aid course also covers (head, neck, spinal, bone, muscle, and joint) injuries, sudden medical emergencies, environmental illnesses, and poisons. It requires 8 hours online learning plus 5 ½ hours in-class.

The special group cost for non-members is $102 for Emergency First Aid, $120 for Standard First Aid.

ABCA members will receive an additional 30% off ($71.40 and $84.00 respectively).

Space is limited to 20 registrants, on a first-come, first-served basis, with preference given to ABCA members.

Registrants will receive a link to the online modules in advance of the class. To successfully complete the course, a 75% mark for written knowledge and evaluation and 100% class participation is required.

The class will start at 9:00 am with the EFA group done by 1:00 pm, and the SFA group by 3:00 pm.
