There are several fitness classes offered at the ABC Hall including Yoga, Pilates, CPHC Seniors Exercise, and Line Dancing.

CPHC Fitness Class for Seniors

MONDAY

When: 9:30 – 10:30 am

January 8 to May 27, 2024 (except Holidays)

This is a FREE class.

Please wear running shoes and comfortable clothing. Bring a water bottle, and weights (optional).

Gentle Yoga

TUESDAY

When: * NEW TIME * 9:00-10:00 am

March 19 – May 21 (10 weeks)

Cost:  $120 / 10 classes; $15 drop-in

Bring your own mat.

Gentle yoga is a slower paced class that invites you to move gently and breathe easy, enabling you to relax your body and calm your mind.

Yoga is a Sanskrit word which means “to yoke” or “to unite.” Connecting the mind, body and breath has many physical, mental and emotional health benefits including improved strength, flexibility and balance, improved breathing, reduced stress, increased energy, and many more.

Gentle Pilates

WEDNESDAY

March 20 to May 22 (10 weeks)

Improve your posture, core stability, flexibility and balance.

Pilates is a low-impact, easy-on-the joints mind/body exercise that has many benefits including rehabilitation from injury, reducing stress and supporting you in your daily, sports and other activities.

Key elements of the classical Pilates exercises and principles will be taught. The class will start with a gentle warm-up, continue with Pilates exercises including progressions and finish with a few yoga exercises to cool down and relax.

All levels welcome!

Beginner Boot Camp

Holly Labow, Certified Group Fitness Instructor with the ISSA (International Sports Sciences Association)

THURSDAY

When: 4:30 – 5:15 pm

March 21 – May 23

Cost: $50 / 10 classes or $7 drop-in

Challenge your body & mind with a combination of cardiovascular and strength training designed for all ages and fitness levels. 

Classes will include both high and low intensity exercises, performed to timed intervals. Increase your strength, gain muscle tone, improve flexibility/cardio/ balance with light weights, plyometrics, resistance training and bodyweight moves. 

These fun 45 minute sessions, accompanied by upbeat music, will begin with a 10 minute warm up, and end with a 10 minute cool down stretch.

Line Dancing

Rhonda Aisbitt, Instructor

FRIDAY

When: 10:00 – 11:00 am

January 5 – May 31, 2024

This is a great way to get a fun workout! Beginners are welcome.

$5 at the door toward hall maintenance.
